The original was already an early atmosperic/house/techno classic, but IMO the remixes take it to another level, especially the third remix by Autechre operating under a pseudonym. Despite remixing the same track they're all pretty different.

I always thought the kind of pressure injectors you see in a lot of 80s+ sci-fi were just props, but they were a real thing, called 'jet injectors'.

They fell out of favor because of risk of cross contamination between victims due to blow-jack pressure and sputtering. The current version is called the 'disposable-cartridge jet injector' and looks a lot less futuristic (pic 4)
